Please take note of the following changes:

In-Region Beans Update:

  • Only US/CA beans will be considered as in-region beans. (Beans gifted by users in

  • US/CA)

  • In-region beans will be renamed as "Local beans.”

  • Local beans remuneration structure and rules stay the same.

Out-of-Region Beans Update:

  • Non-US/CA beans (Beans gifted by users from outside US/CA) will be considered as

  • out-of-region beans.

  • Previous out-of-region beans 20% rule will no longer apply to the remuneration structure

  • Out-of-region beans will be renamed as “Overseas beans.”

  • Overseas beans will now have its own remuneration structure. (see Pay Charts below)

  • If a host did not complete the required hours but completed the required beans

  • according to the Overseas Bean pay chart, the overseas beans remuneration payout will be 50%.

The counting metrics for beans and hours remain unchanged. Moving forward, all agencies will be required to adhere to the eligible payment chart, and hosts will now receive compensation based on a combination of both Local and Overseas Bean tiers.

With the introduction of the Oversea beans chart, hosts can now tap into a global audience, expanding their reach to viewers and fans worldwide. This means hosts have the freedom to go live at different hours, attracting a broader audience and leveraging BIGO's vast user base of over 400 million globally. So, whether it's day or night, hosts can connect with audiences from every corner of the world, enhancing their visibility and engagement on the platform!
